Ciaran Maguire has been involved in outdoor events and activities for nearly twenty years. A member of the Irish Freestyle Kayaking team for seven year, he claimed three national championships, and now coaches the national team. In 2004 Ciaran was co-organiser of the Zanskar kayak expedition to India , raising much needed funds for the Irish Cancer Society and the Kullu School for the blind. Ciaran regularly appears on TV3's Ireland AM show, where he presents a regular sports feature. When not busy in the outdoors, Ciaran lines out for his Gaelic football team at St Oliver Plunketts, Eoghan Ruadh.

Brian Keogh has extensive experience in outdoor sports and event management, having previously establishing one of Ireland's leading event companies. Brian returned to Ireland in 2006 after 3 years of adventurous travel on four continents, bringing a fresh international perspective to his already well-established event program portfolio. Brian spends his free time mountain biking, windsurfing, kayaking and competing on Ireland's adventure racing circuit. Brian was also a member of the Zanskar expedition.
